| Welcome to the Rápture Website. Rápture is a raiding guild. We are a serious/casual raiding guild. We raid about three days a week but we are serious about progression. We do engage in pvp premades, we like to win. We have an age requirement of 18 plus. We strive for a friendly enviornment thereby providing for a pleasant and fun gaming experience. Teamwork is a key factor, and we are always looking for a few quality players. Player must know his class and be able to accept constructive criticism, as we push forward with excellence. Rápture is a fun guild, with great people and great times. |

| Black War Bears for the taking! |

| We did it! We took down all four Alliance bosses last night and got our Black war Bears mounts. Woot! Rápture for the win!! It was like taking candy from a baby. It was fun, and so easy. The only trouble we ran into was having to wait for a boss to respawn that had just be killed moments before we got there. The wait was not too long. We managed to entertain ourselves by killing any alliance who dared to challenge us, and the endless respawns of guards. We did noticed and experienced a terrible serge of lag and even repeated disconnects for several members during our boss fights. I see it a failure for Blizzard who provided this achievement but did not make provisions for their servers to handled the event. But, its all good cause when all is said and done, everyone walked away with the achievement and a the coveted Black War Bear mount. Thank you guys as always the teamwork was pro. This is only the beginning for us. |
| Level your main to 80 first. |

| I wish I could say leveling to 80 is exciting, but personally once I hit 70, I never expected to quest ever again. Questhelper does makes it less painful but leveling is still extremely boring . It may be just me, but it just seems to take so much time to level just one level. The important thing to remember is to concentrate on your main toon. Getting your toon to 80 as quickly as possible is extremely important in order to commence raiding the new content. Death Knights are so much fun and just too cool; but unless its going to be your main, your efforts are best placed on leveling your main character to 80. There are a couple of guilds already raiding new content and we do not want to be left behind. So as boring or time comsuming as leveling may be, keep pushing forward on your main toons. The new raids are just waiting for us to come and tear them apart. |

Gratz to Belias who set his sight on 80, and nothing was going to detour him. Gratz Belias, our whole hearted congratulations to you and your hard work and diligence to achieve your goal. You make us proud to be in the same guild with a player of such determination and knowledge. You are Pro! Needless to say, gratz on winning the Great Race pot.
I have read recently other players on the server trying to say that anyone who hit 80 that fast had to have played beta or use some sort of aid. Let it be know Belias neither played beta, nor used any kind of aid. He in fact hates quest helper and has never used it. There are some players that play at a level that not all of us will reach but can only be inspired by their excellence in the game. Belias is one such player. For the record ...Yes he does have a life outside of wow. Full time college student carrying over 18 Credit hours a semester, where he excels with the same vigor and dedication to his studies. Again Way to go Belias..we never doubted. |
| The Great Race is On!! |

| The Great Race is on to 80 with the release of the WOTLK. Since we all are going to be leveling to 80 furiously, it was decided to add alittle spice into the mix. A jackpot has been formed and half of the collected gold will go the the winner, first guildie to hit 80. This is open to all Guild members who are up to the challenge. The entry fee is 21 gold, that is to be deposited into the guild bank by midnight server time, Wednesday, November 12th. Why 21 gold? This amount will be easy to recognize and distinguish from random gold deposits. Wednesday at midnight we will post the sum of the pot that is up for graps by any guildie that has entried the race and hits 80 first. Good Luck to all, and lets go level! |
| Healers and Tanks |

| As we progress, we have determined our recruitment needs. We are looking for tanks and healers. We have all of our dps in place. Going into the expansion is exciting but with it comes preparing. Making sure we have the adequate number for every class is extremely important. By doing the preparation ahead of time will safe us alot of headaches and time in the long run and make for smoothier raids. With this in mind, we need to keep our eyes and ears open to possible canididates to add to our membership. |
